Welcome to Stockbridge Community Education. Our goal is to provide opportunities for emotional, physical and social growth and learning. We offer enrichment and recreational programs for preschool age through adulthood. We update this site regularly for available classes.

Class Descriptions
Soccer Non-Travel, Grades K-1, Saturday's October 10 and October 17, $15
Registration Deadline: October 6, 2020
Players will do drill & skill work for the first half and then divide up to play supervised scrimmages for the second half of practice. This will be 2 Saturday Sessions. Kindergarten will be from 9:00-9:45 am. 1st Grade will be 10:15-11:00 am on these Saturday's.

Dog Training with Julie Glair, $98 TBD
Practically Perfect Puppy I & II Ages 10 weeks to 1 year.
Start your puppy out right with this 6 week class. Pups learn basic manners while having fun and increasing the bond with their handlers. Tuesdays, 6:00-6:45 pm, $98 per 6 week session.
Adult Dog Obedience Ages 1 year and up.
This class incorporates basic household manners. Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog so he/she will come, sit, down and stay. Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm, $98 per 6 week session.
Hunter Safety at Chelsea Rod & Gun Club, $10
Hunter Safety is required by law for anyone to receive his/her first hunting license. An instruction book must be picked up at Stockbridge Community Education prior to the first class. All classes are held at Chelsea Rod & Gun Club at 7103 Lingane Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118. Classes are both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on dates listed. Pre-registration and payment required to attend. Cost is $10. Upcoming class dates are August 8 & 9, 2020.(CLASSES SUSPENDED AS OF JULY 26, 2020)
Strip Quilting with Rose, $40 (class canceled for 2020)
The first night you will decide on a pattern and get yardage requirements. The techniques taught will enable you to have your quilt top done in 8 weeks. Color, fabric , batting and backing choices will also be covered in class. Instructor, Rose Reinhardt. Choice of class on Wednesday night or Thursday night, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Class, TBD. Cost is $40. Location of class is at Heritage School, 222 Western Street, Room 113.
Cardio Drumming, $5 Monday's and Wednesday's 6:00-7:00pm (Canceled for 2020)
No registration needed. $5/night drop in (First class is free!) One hour continuous workout & cool down with Brianna Cool. Class is located at Smith Elementary School in the Extended Learning Center Gym, 100 Price Ave, Stockbridge. - 17 gallon rope bucket
- 65cm or 75cm exercise ball
- Drumsticks (you can buy a set from the instructor for $5)
Open Gym, $2/night, (canceled for 2020)
No registration needed. Come dressed to play with your friends for an evening of supervised basketball. Parents are welcome too! Please bring your player to the time according to his/her grade. This is enforced for safety reasons. Students must remain in the gym until they sign out when leaving. Locker rooms will not be open.
- Players in grades 3-7 play time is 6:00-7:55pm
- Players in grades 8-12 play time is 8:00-9:55pm

Stockbridge Adult Co-Ed "Dive and Spike" Volleyball, $2/night Monday's 7:30-9:30 pm
Canceled for 2020
No registration needed. Adults welcome for an evening of pickup volleyball. Teams will be split each week. Coordinators Lyn St. Dennis and Larry & Zela Jones. May start late on nights with MS volleyball or basketball games. Located in Junior High Gym, 416 North Clinton Street, Stockbridge. TBD
