Starting September 2015, Stockbridge Community Schools stopped offering high school completion or GED preparatory classes.

Class Descriptions

Adult SundayEvening Co-ed Recreational Softball
All players, including beginners, are invited to play in this slow-pitch softball league. This is a RECREATIONAL league with the goal of having fun and getting to know your friends and neighbors. Register individually or as a team.  No complaining, arguing, or whining allowed. Each team is responsible for getting their own shirts. Please aim for no more than 15 players on a team, 50% women, with at least 4 women playing on the field at all times. Batting line-ups should alternate between genders.  Remember: no smoking or alcoholic beverages on school grounds. Games will be loosely umpired, but strikes and balls will not be called—each batter gets 7 pitches and we’ll use a strike plate.  Games will consist of 7 innings or 90 minutes, whichever comes first.  Season starts July 1 and runs through August 5.  Stockbridge High School & Smith School Ball Fields.  $16/player or $160/team

Fall 2018 CASL Travel Soccer for players going into 4th through 12th grade.  Register by July 6, 2018
This league is offered through the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) for players born in 2000-2009 and will provide a field of play closer resembling what is experienced in High School.  Players ages 10-12 may play 9 v 9; Ages 12-19 may play 11 v 11 on a HS regulation field.
Payment along with a completed and signed registration form must be turned in for all players.
Fee covers the Fall 2018 CASL Season only.  Players will need to register and pay separately for the Spring 2019 CASL Season at fees similar to those listed .  Practices may begin Mid-August and Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays with the additional possibility of a Monday evening game starting September 8-November 5.
Register early as teams do fill up - late registrations are not guaranteed placement.
Teams are based on age the player turns in 2019.
Scholarship money may be available, however, is not guaranteed for families who currently receive free and reduced lunch. Please call to inquire. 517-851-8222 ext. 6 or 7

Fall 2018 Non-Travel Soccer for Grades 2-3.  Register by September 7, 2018.  
Games may be played weekday evenings or on Saturday mornings September 15-October 13. Practices begin early September and will be determined by the coach.  Includes game shirt $59/5 weeks.  (register and pay by September 3 and save $10!)

Fall 2018 Non-Travel Soccer for Grades K-1.   Register by September 7, 2018.  
Practices and games will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights September 11–October 11, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.  Players will do drill & skill work for the first half and then be divided up to play supervised games for the second half of practice. Includes team shirt.  $49/5 weeks.  (register and pay by September 3 and save $10!)

Fall 2018 Wee-Wats Pre-K Soccer - Register by September 17, 2018.
In-House, Non-Travel Soccer for Ages 3-4. Shin Guards or Cleats are NOT required.  Players will meet once a week for 4 weeks on the field near Smith Elementary School.  Each meeting we’ll focus on skills & drills and finish with a game between teams.  Monday nights.   Fee includes ball to keep!  September 24, October 1, 8, 15.  5:30 – 6:15 pm  $25/4 weeks.     

Hunter Safety August 11 and 12, September 15 and 16, or October 6 and 7
Hunter Safety is required by law for anyone to receive his/her first hunting license. An instruction book must be picked up at Stockbridge Community Education and completed prior to the first class. Pre-registration/payment is required.  Please bring a sack lunch, drink, pen and pencil.  Please leave all firearms and ammunition at home.  Class will be held at the Chelsea Rod & Gun Club, 7103 Lingane Road, Chelsea, MI  48118,  9am – 3pm.

Open Gym

As of March 11, Saturday Night Open Gym at the High School is now finished. There will be no open gym on Saturday, March 18 or 25. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
