Smith Watch D.O.G.S.
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is an innovative father involvement, educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering.
There are two primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program.
- To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
- To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
Who Are WatchDOGS?
Watch D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
How do I sign up?
An email or phone call will be sent to confirm your day and time. Please check in at the office on your assigned day. Thank you for wanting to be part of this wonderful program and to help make a difference in our students lives.
By signing up as a WATCH D.O.G.S. volunteer, you are subject to a background check and that Stockbridge Schools reserves the right to deny volunteers based on the background check.
