Technology

Welcome to the Stockbridge Community Schools Technology!

Stockbridge Community Schools offers students and staff access to the most up-to-date technology services and initiatives. Our goal is to integrate relevant curriculum and technology to develop 21st-century skills for all students.

One-to-One Technology

With our one-to-one technology students are able to learn, explore, and create in ways that enable them to be competent citizens in today’s workforce. Beginning in Kindergarten, every student receives a Chromebook that can be used within the classroom. Students are able to take the Chromebooks home starting in grade 6. Teachers have received engaging professional development and resources that enable them to create lesson plans to encourage students to use Chromebooks as an educational tool in a fun, meaningful way.

In order to support our one-to-one technology, all classrooms are equipped with a wireless access point that allows full wireless coverage for all classrooms in all buildings throughout the district.

Interactive Touchscreens and Displays

Every classroom in Stockbridge Community Schools has a Clevertouch interactive touchscreen or 55-inch display monitor available. These devices engage students in the learning process by displaying both visually appealing and interactive information. The 55-inch displays are used in buildings throughout the district to provide students, parents, and community members with important upcoming information and Stockbridge School highlights.
