Class Descriptions

A Day In the Village Cheer Clinic June 12, 14, 16
Join the High School Cheer team to learn some chants and cheers and then perform June 16 for friends and family during A Day In the Village festivities!  This fundraiser benefits the High School Cheer team.  Practices held June 12 and 14, 3:45-5:15pm at Smith Elementary.  Perform June 16 at A Day In the Village.  Each participant will receive a tshirt.

Basketball Camp June 18, 19, 20, 21
Players will work on fun drills to improve skills and play short games.  Camp will be coached by the Stockbridge Head Varsity Basketball Coach, Rick Weaver along with assistant Kasey Swoverland and members of the High School Boys’ Basketball team.  The camp helps support the High School Basketball Program.  Grades K-2, 3-4pm;  Grades 3-5, 4-5pm; Grades 6-8, 5-6pm at the Junior/Senior High School.

Hunter Safety August 11 and 12, September 15 and 16, or October 6 and 7
Hunter Safety is required by law for anyone to receive his/her first hunting license. An instruction book must be picked up at Stockbridge Community Education and completed prior to the first class. Pre-registration/payment is required.  Please bring a sack lunch, drink, pen and pencil.  Please leave all firearms and ammunition at home.  Class will be held at the Chelsea Rod & Gun Club, 7103 Lingane Road, Chelsea, MI  48118,  9am – 3pm.

Volleyball Camp June 18, 19, 20, 21
Fall 2018 Grades 3-8, come and join the fun and improve your volleyball skills.  Camp will be coached by the Stockbridge Varsity Volleyball Coach, Meghan Kunzelman, along with the high school coaching staff and players.   Camp will focus on the fundamental skills of volleyball, along with team play.   The last day of camp will be filled with fun, skills competitions, and team play.  The camp, held at the Junior/Senior High School, helps support the High School Volleyball Program.  Knee pads are suggested.  Please wear athletic gear, gym shoes, hair up, and bring a bottle of water.  Grades 3-8, June 18, 19, 20, and 21;  9am - Noon at the Junior/Senior High School

T-Ball, Mon. & Wed. night games, June 6-27.  Register by May 4
Boys and Girls introductory baseball for ages 4 to 6.  Players  a "T" to hit a soft baseball.
Practice may begin week of May 23.  Tshirt and hat included.

Farm League, Tues. & Thurs. night games, June 7-28.  Register by May 4
Boys and Girls introductory baseball for ages 7 & 8.  Players will be pitched to using a soft baseball.  Practice may begin week of May 23. Tshirt and hat included.

Wee-Wats Wiffle Ball, June 1, 8, 15, 22.  Register by May 4
Boys and Girls ages 3-PK.  Instructor Larry Torrey helps participants learn the basics of this fun sport.   Tshirt and hat included.

Open Gym

As of March 11, Saturday Night Open Gym at the High School is now finished. There will be no open gym on Saturday, March 18 or 25. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

After 13 classes, girls will be able to show their stuff and celebrate their progress in the “A Day in the Village” 5K Run/Walk right here in Stockbridge on June 16. Girls Running Club will run the 5K non-competitively. Each girl who completes the course and race will get a certificate of accomplishment at the end. Bring a comfortable running outfit for running outside. Stay on the path of healthy habits with exercise & proper eating!
